ElevenLabs opens Singapore office as Southeast Asia hub
ElevenLabs, a US-based AI voice software company, is opening a Singapore office as its Southeast Asia hub to support local AI communications. Its regional customers include Funding Societies, Atome, AI Rudder, Rezonate, and Level3AI.
The move follows its July launch of data residency in Singapore, which ElevenLabs said offers local hosting, zero-retention options, and lower latency across Singapore and East Asia.
ElevenLabs, which raised US$500 million at a US$11 billion valuation, is also expanding its local team. A Singapore job posting shows an enterprise sales role.
Many Southeast Asian businesses operate across multiple languages. Data location can matter for compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, though the law does not broadly require companies to host data in Singapore. Other voice AI providers also advertise configurable regional data residency.
