Elevation Capital chief operating officer steps down
Vivek Mathur has step down as partner and chief operating officer (COO) at Elevation Capital after 14 years.
In a LinkedIn post, he announced that he will now focus on advisory and mentorship roles.
During his tenure, Mathur supported various startups, including ACKO, FirstCry, Paytm, Tracxn, and Xpressbees.
With over three decades of experience, he has held leadership roles at Dell Technologies, Scope International, and Standard Chartered Bank.
His departure comes as Elevation Capital strengthens its leadership team.
In late 2024, the firm appointed former Meta executive Krishna Mehra as a partner to lead SaaS and AI investments. They also promoted Vaas Bhaskar, Chirag Chadha, and Ashray Iyengar.
Mathur’s exit reflects a broader trend of investors enhancing teams amid growing opportunities in India’s startup and tech sectors.
