EDB, Temasek, UOB executives join SFA fintech council
Singapore FinTech Association, a Singapore-based nonprofit industry body, said on August 24 that it had appointed four members to its Strategic Advisory Council for a two-year term from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2028. Alvin Tan will remain the group’s patron.
The new council members are Singapore Economic Development Board executive vice president Pee Beng Kong, Enterprise Singapore assistant managing director Wong Zeng Yi, Temasek managing director for investment Pradyumna Agrawal, and UOB managing director and group head of the Innovation Group Lee Zhu Kuang.
Established in 2024, the council provides independent advice on fintech trends, opportunities, and national priorities.
It also helps strengthen links between the fintech industry and the government. The new appointees replace inaugural members Ong Chen Hui, Soh Leng Wan, Neil Parekh, and Sanjoy Sen.
Tan, Singapore’s minister of state for foreign affairs and national development and a board member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, continues as SFA’s patron.
