East Ventures leads $7m round for Amity Robotics
Bangkok-based Amity Robotics, a physical AI and robotics company, said on July 1 it had closed a US$7 million seed round of equity and debt financing to expand its AI concierge kiosks and develop a mobile robot.
East Ventures led the equity portion, with participation from 500 Global, while AlteriQ Global led the debt portion.
The company said its ARC Base kiosks were operating at more than 30 properties in Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Its first European deployment is scheduled for July.
Amity Robotics said ARC Base handled multilingual visitor queries such as wayfinding, hotel information, dining recommendations, and promotions.
Public examples included JEN Singapore Orchardgateway and a Siam Piwat property in Bangkok.
The company also said ARC Move, its first mobile robot, would guide customers around stores and large properties.
Amity Robotics said it was a sister company to Amity, with both companies affiliated through a common shareholder, Amity Corporation.
LinkedIn lists Amity Robotics as established in 2024.
