EaseMyTrip shares drop to 52-week low after Q3 results
Shares of travel technology company EaseMyTrip fell by up to 5% to a new 52-week low of 11.35 rupees (US$0.1307) during early trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Feb. 17.
The stock later partially recovered, trading 2.1% lower at 11.68 rupees (US$0.1345) by 10:45 AM.
As of this time, the company’s market capitalization was 4,153.66 crore rupees (US$478.4 million), with 2.2 crore rupees (US$253,300) shares trading hands.
The stock previously peaked at 25.9 rupees (US$0.3) on February 27, 2024.
The decline in EaseMyTrip’s stock reflects a broader drop in Indian benchmark indices amid ongoing market concerns.
EaseMyTrip reported a 26% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit after tax (PAT), totaling 34.02 crore rupees (US$3.92 million) for the third quarter of FY25.
Operating revenue also decreased by 6%, down to 150.56 crore rupees (US$17.34 million) from 160.78 crore rupees (US$18.52 million) in the same quarter of the previous year.
