DXC Technology, a US-based enterprise IT services provider, said on June 12 that it had formed a multi-year alliance with Anthropic.

The partnership to bring Claude AI into enterprise systems used by banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers, and government agencies.

Under the deal, DXC will become one of the few Global Premier partners in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network.

It will train Claude-certified engineers and builders. The initial focus will be on insurance, application modernization, cybersecurity, and application services.

Claude already powers DXC Oasis, which DXC describes as an IT operations platform that works across existing tools as a governed layer for managed services.

DXC said the platform was deployed across more than 50 customers globally.

The alliance is part of Anthropic’s broader enterprise push. Its services partner program is backed by a US$100 million investment.

Rehulators have also said companies using AI remain responsible for complying with laws and consumer protection rules.
