Dutch chipmaker NXP buys TTTech Auto for $625m
Dutch semiconductor company NXP plans to acquire TTTech Auto, an Austrian firm specializing in safety software for autonomous vehicles, for US$625 million.
The all-cash deal, announced on Tuesday, is pending regulatory approval.
TTTech Auto, founded in 2018 as a spin-off of TTTech Group, provides safety-critical software solutions for the automotive sector.
Its main product, MotionWise, supports advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems (ADS).
Following the acquisition, TTTech Auto’s management and engineering teams will join NXP and operate under its brand.
