Kuwait-based delivery platform talabat has acquired 100% of instashop from Delivery Hero SE for US$32 million, finalizing the deal in March 2025.

Instashop will remain a standalone brand within talabat’s grocery and retail division.

Founded in 2015 in the UAE, instashop operates in the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, and Qatar.

It reported an annual gross merchandise volume of US$631 million in 2024, a 16% increase from the previous year.

This acquisition strengthens talabat’s grocery and retail offerings in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) MENA region.

Instashop’s operations will integrate with talabat’s structure while maintaining brand independence.
