Dubai-based AI firm qeen.ai secures $10m seed funding

Dubai-based AI startup qeen.ai has raised US$10 million in seed funding, marking one of the largest funding rounds in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The investment was led by Prosus Ventures, with participation from Wamda Capital, 10x Founders, and Dara Holdings, bringing total funding to US$12 million.

qeen.ai was founded by ex-Google and DeepMind employees Morteza Ibrahimi, Ahmad Khwileh, and Dina Alsamhan in 2023.

The platform develops AI agents for ecommerce tasks such as content generation, marketing, and conversational sales.

The funds will support the expansion of qeen.ai’s AI platform, team growth, and customer acquisition.

Since launching its Dynamic Content agent in 2024, the company has generated over 1 million product descriptions for merchants and reported a 30% sales increase.
