Dubai agritech startup Aydi bags $7.5m seed round

Aydi, a Dubai-based agriculture technology company, raised US$7.5 million in a seed round from COTU Ventures, Daltex, and Nuwa Capital, with participation from Magrabi Agriculture and Foundation Ventures.

The funding will support the launch and growth of Orth, Aydi’s AI-powered agronomy assistant that gives farmers real-time insights.

Orth combines satellite data, weather information, predictive analytics, and conversational AI to provide crop management recommendations.

Founded in 2022, Aydi operates in more than 15 countries, with offices in Dubai, Madrid, and Cairo.

The company introduced Orth at the Fruit Attraction event in Madrid, offering free and paid versions for farmers and businesses.
