Doosan expands Nvidia partnership into AI factories
South Korea’s Doosan Group said on June 8 it will expand ties with Nvidia following a meeting between Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Chairman park Jeong-won in Seoul.
The expanded cooperation will cover AI factory power infrastructure, compact equipment, and semiconductor materials.
The companies had already worked together on AI robot applications.
Doosan Robotics showing material-handling, sanding, and inspection systems using Nvidia technology at Automatica 2025.
Doosan said it is evaluating additional robotics solutions with Nvidia.
Doosan Bobcat plans to apply Nvidia physical AI to compact machines used in construction, landscaping, agriculture, and logistics.
Doosan also said it saw potential in AI factories.
The group already operates businesses in small modular reactors and hydrogen fuel cells.
Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials is targeting Nvidia MGX-based systems and spending 180 billion won (US$117 million) on a Thailand copper-clad laminate plant, with mass production due in the second half of 2028.
