Disney+ and Vidio, an Indonesia-based streaming platform, said on October 1 that they were launching a bundle in Indonesia combining Disney+ Standard with Vidio Ultimate All Screen.

The package combines international entertainment, ESPN sports programming on Disney+, live TV, and Vidio sports rights, including the Premier League, Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Champions League, and BRI Super League.

Vidio users with active subscriptions will also get a rotating “Taste of Disney+” sampler with selected episodes from titles including Flex X Cop S2, High Potential, Sofia the First, and Grey’s Anatomy.

The companies said they also planned to give Disney+ subscribers access to a selection of Vidio original series and local TV soaps, known in Indonesia as sinetron.

The partnership comes as Disney has signaled plans to rebrand Disney+ Hotstar as Disney+ in Indonesia.

It also follows another bundling move in Asia in which Disney launched a package with Hulu Japan.
