Indonesia-based fintech company Julo has unveiled Julo Cares, an insurance program embedded within its digital credit platform.

The new offering, which comes in partnership with Japanese insurer Sompo, provides device protection against damage or theft. The firm is also working with the Indonesian government’s social security agency, BPJS, to offer health insurance for workplace accidents and life insurance coverage.
