Dell acquires Israeli AI startup Dataloop for $120m

Dell Technologies is acquiring Israeli AI data infrastructure startup Dataloop for US$120 million in an all-cash deal.

Dataloop, founded in 2017 by Eran Shlomo, Avi Yashar, and Nir Buschi and based in Herzliya, provides a platform for managing, labeling, and processing unstructured data to support AI model training.

The company has raised about US$50 million from investors such as NGP Capital, Alpha Wave Global, F2 Venture Capital, OurCrowd, and Amiti Ventures.

As of last year, Dataloop collaborated with clients in various industries, including Vimeo, Rentokil, UVeye, Taranis, Pixellot, Syngenta, Brunswick, and major automotive manufacturers.

The acquisition is expected to strengthen Dell’s AI infrastructure and data services for enterprise customers.
