DeepSeek reopens AI model access after suspension
DeepSeek, a Chinese AI startup, has reopened access to its application programming interface (API) after nearly three weeks of suspension.
The service was paused in early February due to capacity shortages, but has been restored, allowing customers to resume credit top-ups, as confirmed by a representative in a verified WeChat group.
This relaunch coincides with Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.’s preview of its new AI model, QwQ-Max.
It underscores the increasing competition in China’s AI sector.
