Co-founder Sourjyendu Medda and retail unit president Kamaldeep Singh are competing for the CEO role at Dealshare as the Indian ecommerce unicorn undergoes an investor-driven restructuring, sources say.

This comes after the exit of two other founders, Sankar Bora and Vineet Rao, who recently stepped down as CEO.

As part of the shakeup, Dealshare, which counts Tiger Global and Alpha Wave as investors, also laid off 130 staff following the closure of its B2B division.
