Database firm MongoDB shares jump after Q3 earnings beat
MongoDB shares rose 15% in after-hours trading on December 1, 2025 after the database software company posted Q3 earnings and revenue that exceeded analyst expectations.
MongoDB reported Q3 revenue of US$628 million, up 19% year-on-year, compared to the US$592 million expected by LSEG analysts.
Adjusted earnings per share reached US$1.32, higher than the projected 80 cents.
The company reported a net loss of US$2 million, or 2 cents per share, narrowing from a net loss of US$9.8 million a year ago.
MongoDB expects Q4 revenue between US$665 million and US$670 million.
The company also raised its full-year 2026 revenue forecast to a range of US$2.4 billion to US$2.4 billion, above its previous guidance and market estimates.
