Danantara names ex-General Motors engineer as first CTO

Danantara, Indonesia’s state investment management agency, is set to name Sigit Puji Santosa as its first chief technology officer.

Santosa, who currently leads state-owned defense firm PT Pindad, will join CEO Rosan Roeslani, COO Dony Oskaria, and CIO Pandu Sjahrir on the firm’s executive team.

He holds engineering degrees from Institut Teknologi Bandung and MIT and previously spent 15 years at General Motors in the US.

His recent work includes overseeing new defense products at PT Pindad and contributing to public transport technology policy.

Danantara is also expanding its technology leadership with three new managing directors focused on technology advancement, industrialization, and strategic initiatives.

The leadership changes aim to strengthen the agency’s technology investment and development efforts for state enterprises.
