Damac to build $2.3b AI data hub in Indonesia

Damac Digital has acquired 50,000 square meters of land in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java, for the construction of an AI-powered data center.

The project, valued at US$2.3 billion, aims for a capacity exceeding 144 megawatts.

This positions it among Indonesia’s largest facilities dedicated to AI.

The land acquisition was facilitated by JLL Indonesia, a commercial real estate services firm.

According to JLL, the first phase of the data center is projected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026.
