Cybersecurity startup raises $20m for identity protection
Clutch Security, a cybersecurity firm based in Tel Aviv, raised US$20 million in a series A funding round, bringing its total funding to US$28.5 million.
The round was led by SignalFire, with participation from existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and Merlin Ventures.
Clutch Security plans to use the funding to expand its workforce and enhance its platform, focusing on research and development, product innovation, and scaling sales and marketing teams.
This will help the company better serve enterprise clients, particularly in sectors like banking, financial services, insurance, and technology.
The investment comes as the need for securing non-human identities (NHIs), such as API keys and service accounts, grows.
Clutch Security’s Universal NHI Security Platform helps monitor and manage NHIs with features like Identity Lineage tracking, real-time anomaly detection, risk prioritization, and actionable remediation.
