US cybersecurity startup Horizon3 raises $250m
US-based cybersecurity company Horizon3 said on August 3 it raised US$250 million in a round that valued it at more than US$2 billion, as companies spend more on defenses against AI-assisted cyberattacks.
NightDragon and NEA co-led the round. New investors Acrew Capital, Blue Cloud Ventures, and Demeter Group joined, while returning investors Craft Ventures, Prosperity7 Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Ridge Ventures, and SignalFire also participated.
Horizon3, which is based in San Francisco, sells NodeZero, a platform that runs pentests, short for penetration tests, to find exploitable attack paths, guide remediation, and verify fixes.
The company was valued at US$650 million in its series D round in June 2025.
