Sola, an Israeli cybersecurity startup, has launched from stealth mode with US$30 million in seed funding.

The round was co-led by S Capital and former Sequoia VC Mike Moritz, with participation from S32, Glilot Capital Partners, and angel investors.

Sola was founded by Guy Flechter, a former co-founder of Cider Security, and Ron Peled, the former chief information security officer at LivePerson,

The company aims to simplify cybersecurity with a low/no-code platform for customized security applications.

The platform is designed for smaller security teams or those with limited technical expertise. Users can set goals in natural language, integrate data from various sources, and create tailored security apps.

It also offers pre-designed apps for tasks like analyzing AWS network security and GitHub developer environments.

The tools serve as an alternative to complex security solutions or open-source tools requiring technical skills.

Sola plans to use the funding to develop its platform amid AI and big data advancements.
