N-able, US-based cybersecurity software company that provides IT management, cybersecurity, and data protection tools, opened a global capability center in Bengaluru on June 15.

The company said it plans to expand its India workforce by at least 50% by the end of 2026.

Hiring will focus on AI engineering, applied machine learning, cloud security, and threat research.

The company was spun off from SolarWinds’ managed service provider business in 2021 and now operates as an independent public company.

The move comes amid broader growth in India’s global capability center sector.

A Zinnov-Nasscom report said India hosted 2,117 GCCs across 3,728 units, up 32% since financial year 2021.

Cybersecurity company Arctic Wolf opened its first Bengaluru GCC in October 2024 and said it planned to hire more than 150 employees in cybersecurity, AI, and threat intelligence.

N-able said the Bengaluru team will help develop defensive AI capabilities as cybercriminals increasingly use generative AI in attacks.
