CrowdStrike-backed compliance firm Vanta raises $150m

Vanta, a cybersecurity compliance software provider, has raised US$150 million in its latest funding round, increasing its valuation to around US$4 billion.

This reflects a rise from a valuation of US$2.45 billion in 2024.

Based in San Francisco, Vanta provides tools to help companies meet compliance standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.

The company, founded in 2018 by Christina Cacioppo and Erik Goldman, serves over 12,000 customers, including software firms Atlassian and Snowflake.

The recent funding round saw participation from CrowdStrike Ventures, Wellington Management, Atlassian Ventures, JPMorgan Chase, and Sequoia Capital.

Since 2021, Vanta has raised a total of US$504 million.
