Cross-border neobank startup Zolve bags $251m

Cross-border neobanking startup Zolve has raised US$251 million in its Series B funding round. The funding consists of US$51 million in equity and US$200 million in debt, as reported.

The round was led by Creaegis and included participation from HSBC, SBI, GMO, and DG Daiwa. According to a report from Reuters, this funding round values the company at US$800 million.

Founded in 2021 by Raghunandan G, co-founder of TaxiForSure, Zolve provides financial services for immigrants.

The company offers FDIC-insured US bank accounts and credit cards without requiring a social security number.

Zolve’s goal is to simplify banking access for expatriates moving to countries such as the US.
