CoreWeave starts $1.5b bond sale to refinance debt

CoreWeave will issue US$1.5 billion in senior notes to refinance debt and support general corporate needs.

The unsecured notes, which are due in 2031, are expected to yield in the low-9% range, according to sources familiar with the matter.

JPMorgan is leading the transaction, which is expected to finalize on July 22, 2025.

The move comes as CoreWeave expands its AI infrastructure to meet growing demand.

Earlier this month, the company announced plans to acquire data-center operator Core Scientific for US$9 billion to enhance control over its physical assets.

Additionally, CoreWeave revealed a US$6 billion investment to build a data center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

This offering marks CoreWeave’s first debt issuance since May 2025, when it issued US$2 billion in junk bonds.
