Coinbase exec sees crypto regulation progress under Trump

Faryar Shirzad, chief policy officer at Coinbase, has suggested potential advancements in cryptocurrency regulation under Donald Trump’s presidency.

Shirzad said crypto legislation could advance through congress, which leans toward pro-crypto policies.

The Republican Party controls both congressional chambers, which Shirzad noted could facilitate the passage of crypto-related laws.

He foresees potential movement on these legislative efforts by 2025.
