Cloudera acquires Israeli AI firm to enhance data strategy

Cloudera has announced the acquisition of Israeli AI firm Octopai.

The deal’s financial terms remain undisclosed.

Octopai, founded in 2016, specializes in data lineage and metadata management. The company uses AI to enhance insights and has raised about US$18 million so far.
