Cloud-based media tech firm Amagi files for $118m IPO
Bengaluru-based Amagi Media Labs has filed draft papers with SEBI for an initial public offering (IPO).
The IPO includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth 1,020 crore rupee (US$117.9 million) and an offer-for-sale (OFS) of up to 3.41 crore shares by existing shareholders.
The company may also consider a pre-IPO placement of up to 204 crore (US$23.6 million), which could reduce the fresh issue size.
Founded in 2008, Amagi offers cloud-based broadcast and advertising solutions for streaming TV. It serves global clients such as NBC and Comcast.
In FY25, Amagi reported an operating revenue of 1,162 crore rupee (US$134.3 million), with a 31% CAGR since FY23.
It also turned EBITDA-positive with a margin of 2.02%.
Key shareholders selling in the OFS include PI Opportunities Fund I and II, Norwest Venture Partners, Accel India VI, Accel Growth VI Holdings, and AVP I Fund.
The IPO is being managed by Kotak Mahindra Capital, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs India, IIFL Capital, and Avendus Capital. The shares will be listed on BSE and NSE.
