US climate fintech firm Eventual nets $7.5m seed funding

Eventual, a US-based startup focused on predicting climate-related changes in insurance pricing, has raised US$7.5 million in a seed funding round.

The investment was led by AlleyCorp and Upfront Ventures.

Founded in 2023 by Dylan DiMarchi and Youssef Doss, Eventual has developed a model using historical and current data from 20 million homes and 150,000 commercial properties.

This technology aims to forecast changes in insurance premiums for US properties over the next five years.

The company’s product, Premium Lock, is available nationwide and provides insights into future pricing trends for homeowners and insurers.

Eventual plans to use the funding to enhance long-term predictability in the insurance sector.
