Citibank Korea backs $100m US expansion for chip supplier
Citibank Korea and the state-run Export-Import Bank of Korea will provide a US$100 million syndicated loan to KoMiCo, a South Korean maker of semiconductor equipment parts.
The funding will support the South Korea semiconductor supplier’s expansion in the US.
KoMiCo provides precision cleaning and coating services for semiconductor equipment components.
The funding will support facility expansion and operations at its US subsidiaries near major chip manufacturing sites.
Citibank Korea said it has also supported KoMiCo’s overseas expansion in Taiwan, Singapore, and the Czech Republic.
