Cisco has launched a new computing device designed to run AI workloads at locations such as retail stores, factories, and healthcare sites.

The platform, called Cisco Unified Edge, aims to process AI data locally rather than relying solely on large data centers.

It uses an Intel chip and is expected to become widely available by the end of 2025.
