Chope CEO is stepping down
The founder and CEO of restaurant reservation firm Chope, Arrif Ziaudeen, is stepping down due to “family circumstances.” He will retain his role as executive chairman, where he will lead the company’s corporate finance, strategy and board direction.
Interim leadership will be provided by Chope’s COO Reynold D’Silva and chief business officer Dinesh Balasingam. A permanent replacement will be announced soon.
The company has raised money from investors like Chinese fintech giant Alipay, which pumped in US$15 million in 2021.
