Chocolate Finance, Allfunds reassure customers on fund safety
Chocolate Finance and Allfunds confirmed on Mar. 12, that customer investment funds remain secure, with withdrawals proceeding as expected.
Chocolate Finance’s funds are held in segregated accounts, complying with Singapore’s regulations, while Allfunds, as the licensed custodian, ensures custody and safeguarding.
David Pérez de Albéniz, CEO of Allfunds Singapore, emphasized that the custodian framework protects investments and maintains standard redemption processes.
Despite increased withdrawal activity, Chocolate Finance CEO Walter de Oude reassured customers of security and transparency. Withdrawals are expected to be settled within three to six business days.
Both firms reiterated their commitment to operational efficiency and compliance with Singapore’s financial regulations.
