Choco Up, Koomi launch F&B financing in Singapore
Choco Up, a Singapore- and Hong Kong-based SME financing platform, and Singapore-based restaurant software provider Koomi announced an embedded accounts payable financing product for Singapore’s food and beverage merchants on August 5.
The product lets eligible merchants access pre-approved financing of up to S$150,000 (US$117,000) within Koomi’s platform to pay suppliers.
Koomi said its platform is used by more than 1,200 F&B outlets in Singapore, and about 90% have already been pre-approved.
Eligibility is assessed using Koomi Pay sales data.
Once approved, and after know-your-customer checks on suppliers are completed, Choco Up pays supplier invoices upfront on behalf of merchants.
Repayments are tied to daily revenue through Koomi Pay, over terms of up to 90 days.
Koomi Pay is Koomi’s integrated tool to receive payments.
It is part of a broader restaurant software suite that includes point of sale, procurement, and embedded financing.
The launch comes as Singapore’s F&B services sales recorded flat growth in May 2026 from a year earlier, according to official data.
