Chinese tech firm Jiechuang Intelligence to raise $290m
China-based Jiechuang Intelligence, a systems integration company, said on June 30 that it plans to raise up to 2 billion yuan (US$290 million) through a 2026 A-share issuance to no more than 35 investors.
The proceeds will be used for AI cloud infrastructure, AI security equipment, and working capital.
Its plan allocates 1.5 billion yuan (US$218 million) to an intelligent computing cloud service center project.
It also earmarks 135 million yuan (US$19.9 million) for AI security equipment for public security applications, including robot dogs, low-altitude defense systems, and electromagnetic net launchers.
The proposal follows earlier plans disclosed in June 2025 and January 2026 to buy up to 600 million yuan (US$88.4 million) and 4 billion yuan (US$589 million) of information technology equipment, respectively.
In April 2026, the company also said it would seek up to 20 billion yuan (US$2.95 billion) in credit lines.
Jiechuang said revenue from its AI and cloud computing business reached 127 million yuan (US$18.7 million) in 2025, including 92.9 million yuan (US$13.7 million) from computing power operation services.
