Beijing-based Simple AI, a robotics startup focused on embodied AI systems, has completed a pre-A+ round worth several hundred million yuan.

Investors include Kexi Capital, the intellectual property fund under Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation, GP Capital, Bozhou Industrial Investment, Shangcheng Capital, and Qianrong Capital. Existing shareholder Linear Capital also participated.

The company said the funding will support iteration of embodied foundation models, scenario data systems, robotics engineering, and commercial deployment in hotels, eldercare, retail, housekeeping, and other lifestyle settings.

Founded in 2025, Simple AI previously completed an angel round in October 2025 with investors including Baidu. It then closed seed and seed+ rounds in November 2025, totalling 200 million yuan (US$29.8 million). It completed a pre-A round led by DiDi on June 16, 2026.

The company has also introduced HiFi-UMI, a data production system for robot manipulation learning with an open dataset spanning 2,000 hours.
