Hangzhou-based robotics firm Elu.AI has raised several hundred million yuan (more than US$14 million) in a pre-series A funding round. The investment was led by Leading Capital, Hangzhou Industrial Investment Group, and Xingtai Capital, with continued support from existing investor CCV Capital.
Founded by Bai Huiyuan, vice president of Alibaba Ding Talk, Elu.AI focuses on the development, manufacturing, and deployment of intelligent robots and AI agent solutions. The company is also exploring brain-inspired intelligence as part of its broader tech roadmap.
Proceeds from the round will be used to enhance Elu.AI’s AI decision-making systems, accelerate R&D for next-generation robots, and support its global market expansion.
