Chinese robot maker Zhongke Siasun raises A+ round
Chinese industrial robot maker Zhongke Siasun, a developer of embodied-intelligence robots and factory automation systems, said on July 8 that it recently completed an A+ round worth several hundred million yuan.
It will use the proceeds for expansion, product updates, and market rollout.
Hongtai Fund and CDH Baifu co-led the round, with follow-on investment from Chengtong Fund, Volkswagen Juding, and Guangzhou Suyuan.
Existing shareholder Dongjun Capital also increased its investment.
Founded in 2014 and spun off independently in 2023, Zhongke Siasun focuses on embodied-intelligence robots for semiconductor manufacturing, welding, and assembly.
The company said it had delivered more than 5,000 deployments in China and overseas.
The financing comes as China has been showcasing domestically made semiconductor equipment for applications including packaging and wafer bonding under a broader localization push.
CDH Baifu said it focused on semiconductors and high-end equipment.
