Chinese robot maker Ubtech deploys humanoid walker robots
UBTech Robotics has deployed its humanoid Walker S1 robots at Zeekr’s electric vehicle (EV) factory in Ningbo, China.
This implementation highlights the growing use of AI and robotics in manufacturing. The robots perform tasks like lifting heavy boxes and processing delicate materials.
The specific number of robots deployed has not been disclosed, but images from UBTech indicate that about 20 units are in operation.
These humanoid robots are used in various workshops for assembly, testing, quality control, and vehicle door processing.
They work autonomously for tasks that require coordinated movements, such as lifting and transporting heavy items.
