Chinese humanoid robotics startups raised $276m in early 2025

China’s humanoid robotics market is experiencing a surge in investment, with startups raising US$276 million across 20 deals in the first two months of 2025.

This marks a sharp increase from the US$176 million raised in four transactions during the same period last year, according to ITJuzi, which tracks China’s venture-capital market.

A Morgan Stanley report revealed that 56% of the world’s publicly traded humanoid robotics companies are based in China. The country is also home to 45% of global robotics integrators, signaling its strong position in the industry.

Mass production and commercialization of humanoid robots in China are expected to begin this year.

Several robotics startups, including LimX Dynamics, AI2Robotics, and Eyoubot, have recently secured funding, highlighting the sector’s rapid growth.
