SiCarrier, a Shenzhen-backed chip equipment maker, introduced 30 new products at Semicon China 2025, emphasizing full domestic control to support China’s semiconductor self-sufficiency amid United States export restrictions.

Du Lijun, president of SiCarrier’s process equipment line, highlighted the company’s focus on alternative materials and 3D architecture, with diffusion, etching, and thin film tools ready for mass production.

Li Zhoujian, head of metrology and inspection, said SiCarrier’s tools feature fully localized core components, marking progress in a sector long dominated by foreign firms.
