Chinese chip designer VeriSilicon’s Q3 revenue up 120% on AI demand
VeriSilicon, a Shanghai-based chip designer, reported that its Q3 revenue rose to 1.3 billion yuan (US$179.7 million), up nearly 120% from the previous quarter and 79% year-on-year.
The company said orders related to AI computing made up 65% of new orders in Q3, with new order volume up 146% year-on-year to nearly 1.6 billion yuan (US$220 million).
VeriSilicon offers custom chip design and semiconductor IP licensing services.
The company said it expects its quarterly losses to “significantly narrow.”
