Chinese AI startup BoCloud raises funding
BoCloud, a China-based provider of cloud-native AI computing infrastructure software, said on July 8 that it had completed a new funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan.
The round was led by follow-on investment from Suzhou Oriza Holdings Corporation and Harvest Capital, and will support BoCloud’s AI efforts in financial services, manufacturing, and public services.
State-backed investors from Baohe District in Hefei and Zhangjiagang also joined the round, according to the company’s press release.
The company has focused on cloud-native infrastructure software.
The company said it now covers cloud-native infrastructure, AI platform capabilities, and AI-native intelligent agents after more than a decade in cloud-native development.
The raise comes as China’s manufacturing policy targets 1,000 high-level industrial intelligent agents by 2027, while agent deployments in finance and government services face stricter governance in high-risk scenarios.
