Hong Tao, a co-founder of Chinese AI startup Baichuan, has left the company due to personal reasons.

The Beijing-based firm announced his departure on Tuesday, thanking him for his work, especially in building the monetization team.

Baichuan is considered a leading AI startup in China.

His exit is part of ongoing leadership shifts among Chinese AI companies, which are facing increased market competition.
