China’s UBTech launches embodied AI simulation platform

UBTech, a Shenzhen-based robotics company, has launched Thinker-Sim, an embodied intelligence simulation platform.

The company said it is designed to lower real-world data collection costs, simplify simulation environment creation, and shorten algorithm validation cycles.

UBTech said the platform combines real-world scene digitization, large-scale synthetic data generation, and robot capability evaluation in a system built around a Real2Sim2Real workflow.

The launch adds software tools to UBTech’s portfolio. The company markets humanoid robots and offers AI education robots.

Thinker-Sim enters a field where Nvidia’s Isaac Sim already provides robotics simulation and synthetic data tools. China has also opened over 70 robot training centers as part of a push into embodied AI.
