China’s UBTech eyes $307m from Hong Kong share placement
UBTech Robotics, a Shenzhen-based humanoid robot manufacturer, plans to raise around HK$2.41 billion (US$307 million) through a share placement in Hong Kong, according to a filing made on July 22, 2025.
The company is offering 30,155,450 new shares at HK$82 each (US$10.66).
The new shares will represent around 6.39% of UBTech’s total issued share capital after the placement.
Proceeds from the share placement will support business operations and development.
This includes working capital, investments, project construction, loan repayments, and interest payments, according to the filing.
