China’s tech industry praised Beijing’s new AI strategy, seeing it as a boost for local chip, server, and AI solution makers.

The plan to expand AI in research, industry, and consumption has strengthened confidence, especially in computing power and domestic AI chips, building on momentum from DeepSeek’s V3.1 AI model.

Meanwhile, China’s government has issued a policy to expand the use of AI in research, industry, and consumer sectors, aiming for a 70% adoption rate of intelligent devices and AI agents by 2027.

According to Kaiyuan Securities, policy support and DeepSeek’s new V3.1 model, which works with local chips, will help China’s AI ecosystem grow faster.
