Pinduoduo – a budget shopping platform under PDD Holdings – aims to prevent price discrimination in ecommerce ecosystems.

Xiaohongshu, often referred to as “China’s Instagram,” allows users to opt out of personalized recommendations and encourages feedback.

The three-month campaign addresses algorithm misuse, signaling growing regulatory scrutiny on digital fairness and user rights.
