WMDoll, a sex doll manufacturer based in China’s Guangdong province, anticipates a 30% increase in sales for 2025 due to advancements in AI.

The company has integrated open-source genAI models, including Meta Platforms’ Llama AI, into its MetaBox series of anthropomorphic dolls.

This development allows the dolls to exhibit more interactive and responsive behaviors by utilizing LLMs, which are hosted on cloud computing systems.

Liu Jiangxia, founder and CEO of WMDoll, said the new AI features are designed to improve user experience.

These enhancements surpass traditional sex dolls, which only provide basic responses.

The dolls retain a metal skeleton structure and are covered with silicone or thermoplastic materials for improved expressiveness.
